Chiogga Striped Beets

4.00

Pronounced "kee-OH-jee-ah", these pre-1840s heirloom beets are named after a fishing village in Italy (Dolce di Chioggia). Bright pink and white rings give them their more common 'candy cane' or Bull's Eye name. This beet is tender, mild, and sweet; the bright green tops can also be used raw in a salad or cooked.
